Fall Break

Tuesday, October 21, 2014
After months of construction and stress, Z and I hopped a plane to Florida for a five-day beach vacay with my parents, my sister, and her boys. We spent most days on the beach. October really is the perfect time to go to the beach. Unfortunately, the one day we decide to take the kids to Disney, it was over 90 degrees. Just my luck.

We took the kids to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Basically, you pay a set price (less than general admission) to let your kids trick-or-treat at Disney from 7-midnight (they will let you in starting at 4, but that isn't advertised). It was a little much for my soon-to-be two-year old, but nevertheless, she enjoyed it. Mama, on the other hand, was exhausted. I think we'll wait a few years before we try it again. :)

Here are a couple pix from the week:

  1. Oh I love to see how Z and your nephews keep growing and so cute! I'm sure you had a blast at Disney though exhausted.

  2. What a pretty beach! I love the beach any time - living in Oregon we don't have many days where it's nice there but being there for the storms and stuff is just as fun, I think. Just wetter. :)
