Game Day in the Bluegrass

Monday, April 07, 2014
Being from Kentucky means you are a University of Kentucky Wildcat fan from birth (unless you're from Louisville - pronounced Lul Vul). As you can imagine, the bluegrass state is pumped about tonight's National Championship game. We love our boys in blue!

Saturday night's game was CRAZY. In case you live under a rock, the Cats won with a few seconds left on an unbelievable three-point shot by Aaron Harrison (now affectionately known as The Shot Heard 'Round the Bluegrass). The video below shows what every house in Kentucky looked like those last moments of the game.

If you plan to watch the game tonight and you have twitter, might I suggest you follow @HLpublicsafety for live updates from the Lexington police scanner feed. You won't be disappointed. You'll see every picture from campus, every couch that's burned and every drunk that's fallen out of a tree throughout the game. And if when we win, be prepared because hilarity will ensue. I must say they are my favorite folks to follow on twitter during tourney time. I also plan to retweet the most outrageous, so if you'd rather not follow them, you can follow me instead - @TheMHouseBlog.
