Keep on movin' movin'

I am happy to say I have lost 17 pounds! Can you believe that? I can't. Really, I can't. It's starting to get a little easier living without all the sugar and carbs. I still have my moments, especially when I smell brownies or pizza floating through the air, but I've resisted. I'm also allowing myself one "cheat" meal every 2-3 weeks. I've noticed it helps keep some of those sugar and carb cravings away. Plus, I find that I'm barely eating half of what's on the "cheat" plate anyway. I've had to pull out old pants that haven't been worn in ages because my others don't fit. That in itself is enough to walk away from that slice of pizza. What a great feeling! For the first time, I actually believe I might be able to make it to my goal weight at some point this year. Woo Hoo! Go me! LOL
