Forget it

Yesterday was a horrible Weight Watchers day. Ugh. I'm disgusted. Breakfast started out just fine, but then our office decided to take a trip on the outskirts of town to this little BBQ place called Pop's. I'm pretty sure they have the best fried green tomatoes on the planet, and I couldn't say no. 

After a loaded baked potato and a side of deep fried green tomatoes, I thought I was going to explode. I thought I was doing good passing on the BBQ and the ribs, but I was still just as stuffed. After work, my husband wanted to take me out for dinner since I'll be gone all next week. He decided on Chinese. The perfect diet food, right? I did order white rice. Of course, the sesame chicken is usually fried at least twice. So, whatever. And let's not forget the big piece of cinnamon raisin bread I ate last night because I couldn't sleep, and it was sitting on my kitchen counter taunting me. In my spooky voice, "Ke--rr--y eeaaat meee."  So, I did. LOL

Honestly, yesterday was the only day I've really screwed up in the last 6 weeks. I guess it's OK to have a bad day here and there, right? I'm really going to have to be careful next week. I don't want to ruin all the hard work I've put in over the past several weeks. I'm thinking morning walks on the beach should definitely  help.

  1. You know, I've gone about 3 years without eating a bite of Chinese food. But lately I've been hooked on the sesame chicken and I've been eating it at least once a week. Totally bummed to hear it's so bad for you but I guess I'm not surprised. I really need to get back on Weight Watchers again

  2. Of course we all have bad days when eating. I've eaten pizza a few times in the last week...normally I can withstand the urge.

  3. Enjoy your vacation. It was just a bad day, and food seemed to be presenting itself on four legs to you.

  4. I think sometimes its good to sneak a bad day in there. Sometimes we can't eat perfectly healthy based on what's going on in life. But as long as you mostly eat healthy, then you'll be fine. And walks on the beach sound WONDERFUL! (ICLW #69)

  7. The good thing is the next day is a brand new day. I'm back at WW now and struggling with my food choices and with tracking since I am still at home with C. It will be easier for me once I get back in the gym and will be even easier once i go back to work!
