Going to the Chapel

My sister was married this weekend in a gorgeous, outdoor ceremony. I must say, she wins for prettiest wedding. Our family has pulled off four weddings in the past four years (including my own), and while they were all special in their own way, this one took the cake.

My sister looked like she came straight out of the pages of Modern Bride magazine. The setting was perfect, the weather was perfect (well, despite 100 degree temperatures), and everyone seemed to have a great time. I will say I am exhausted. The heat didn't sit too well with any of us while we were setting up and cleaning up though. I changed my underwear four times on Saturday. No joke. LOL

Here are a few pictures from the day.

The aisle leading to the dock over the pond.

Looking towards the reception area. Notice the fan.

Bows lined the entire fence line.

Inside the reception area under the tent.

One of many fans we had set up around the area. It was the hottest September day since 1954!

The registry table and entrance into the ceremony area.
Now for a few pictures of the bride and groom.

Wiping the sweat. I felt so sorry for the guys in those suits.

And wiping the sweat again...during the ceremony. LOL You can see her twin in the background doing the same thing.

And last, but not least, a sweet picture of our nephew. Is he not the cutest? He walked all the way down the aisle, smiling all the way. He even stopped a couple times to ask, "Is that?"
