Lately, there have been lots of ups and downs. Even though DH has a clean bill of health, it still scares me to death. I know I probably drive him crazy because I'm constantly asking, "How are you feeling?" or "Are you ok?"

"YES," he says, "I'm fine!"

But still, I worry. I guess that's a normal response. Then, of course, any other stress on top of that makes for a tiring day. Last night I went to bed at 7:30, emotionally exhausted for no reason in particular. The snow doesn't help. It has got to go.
I've decided a nice big piece of chocolate cake might help.

And of course, a nice, long massage.

Unfortunately, the cake doesn't sit well with my daily points and I can't get out of town because of the dadgum snow. LOL

Oh well. I'll drink my water and be happy about it. ;)

  3. I'm trying to watch my calories, and I feel stressed out all the time. My husband is very unhappy where we live and with his job. I never have enough time during "the day" to do what I feel I need to do, so here I am at 2:30AM sitting up, trying to catch up on five days of email that I haven't had a chance to sift through, catching up on the ICLW commenting that didn't get done Friday or Saturday, and trying to enter some sweepstakes since I've been "lax" for the past few days.

    Oh, I was just going to make a point about chocolate. Sometimes, I just have to have something chocolate, so I get one of those mini candy bars - a piece of Dove or a Hershey's miniature - and I eat it in small bites, letting it melt in my mouth. Can you find something small but rich that you can treat yourself with, so you can stay on track with your points and still enjoy something special?
