Nerves

Thursday, November 04, 2010
Tomorrow is our first informational meeting with the agency. My nerves are already shot. What if we don't say the right thing? What is the right thing to say? Where's the handbook? Why should it be this hard just trying to become parents? EEEK!

Hopefully I'll be a little more chatty tomorrow.

  1. I'm sure you will be fabulous tomorrow! It does seem very intimidating, but you're not a total lunatic so you should have no problem shining during your meeting.

  2. There should be a book about events like this in our lives and how to handle them.

I'm wishing you all the best hon *hugs*

  4. Just picture the interviewer naked!... Does that help?! ;)

Just be you, that's the best you can do... and from getting to know a little about you through your blog it is easy to tell that you are a warm, caring, funny and compassionate woman... I am sure that will all shine through.

    Good luck!

  9. Don't worry. Yes, they have lot's of questions - some you could never imagine. It's not all about right and wrong answers. With luck, you will have a case worker who understands how stressful this is. In my experience they are very sensitive to you being nervous. Good Luck!!
