Welcome ICLW

Friday, October 22, 2010
Hello! I'm so glad you stopped by for a visit. This is my second ICLW. I had a great time during last month's and "met" so many wonderful bloggers.

For those of you that are new and stopping by for the first time, you can read my story HERE or if you have plenty of time, you can read it from the beginning at Journey to Josey. Just quickly, we lost our sweet little girl at 25 weeks to preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. I spent a month in the hospital fighting this disease. Because of the severity and early on-set of my case, along with a diagnosis of MTHFR, a blood clotting disorder, my doctors told us we had a 60% chance of experiencing the same thing or close to the same thing again. The thought of going through such a traumatic event like that all over again doesn't sit well with me or my husband.

So, we are now in the early stages of pursuing domestic infant adoption. We have submitted our application and have our first informational meeting with them in two weeks. I hope you decide to stick around and follow us on this new journey. I'd love to have you! Leave lots of comments and stop by often!

Happy ICLW!
