Hello ICLWers!

Friday, September 24, 2010
I'm so enjoying my first ICLW. I've found so many great blogs and incredible women out there in the blogosphere. I wish I could post on every single blog, but unfortunately it seems a good portion of them won't let me. Every time I try to post, it just disappears. But please know that if I haven't left you a comment it doesn't mean I haven't stopped by! :)

  5. Hi Kam,
You have suffered such an enormous loss this year and it's a measure of how big your heart is that you were willing to be there in the hospital with your sister for the birth of her son.

You will always encounter people who have an opinion on what you should do, but you don't have to listen to it. You have enough confidence in your decision, made with your husband (you and he are all that matter really), that adoption is the way for you to create your family now, so try to firmly tell people it's not open for discussion if it upsets you.

I wish you joy as a new aunt and good luck with your eventual adoption.

Sometimes comments need to be approved by the blog owners before they appear which might be why your comments are not appearing.

  7. hello from ICLW #92. Been reading a bit over here. I have had losses too and am now moving on to foster/adoption. Loved the entry about your nephew, the emotions surrounding our type os losses are so intense and pervasive. I am always surprised by the forms grief takes. Good luck on your next adventure!
