Big Day

Wednesday, September 22, 2010
First I'd like to welcome all my ICLW visitors. This is my first time participating and I am so excited! And of course, all my SITS girls. Who knew blogging could be so much fun?

But the big news is....I will be an aunt today! I'm not sure what time. She labored all day yesterday and nada. So, they stopped the pitocin and are starting back up tomorrow. Our wonderful doctor told her he would be here today, whether it be natural or c-section. So, Happy Birthday to my nephew!

The bad news is I have to go back to the very same labor and delivery floor. I avoided it yesterday. It's not so much my sister, but the hospital itself. Lots and lots of bad memories. I also have my 6 month check-up today as well. I'm prepared to reschedule though in the event he has to deliver my sweet little nephew. LOL However, there are a few things I really need to discuss with him health wise. Things just aren't quite normal and I'm afraid there may be a few more trips and ultrasounds in my future. (No, I'm not pregnant. Not even close. lol)

Anyway, I'd really appreciate all your thoughts, prayers, mojo, whatever you've got, please send them my way and my sister's. I'm going to need all the strength I've got to walk back through those doors. I want to enjoy this day more than anything.

  1. Congrats on your nephew! I hope all goes well for your sister. I also hope that things go well for you too!
