Did that just happen?

Our plans this weekend took a little bit of a turn.  I was up all night on Friday nursing a sick puppy dog back to health.  He had decided to eat grass and along with the few bites of steak we gave him, well, let's just say it didn't go over too well.

I cleaned up puke all night. He even threw up under the bed. Ugh.  DH said it's just practice for what's to come. :)  Thankfully, he is fine now.

Because we were up all night, we slept in on Saturday.  By the time we got up, we decided to skip our trip to the lake.  We are early morning goers and once 1:00 or 2:00 hits, we like to head home.  I did get a lot of cleaning done though and the grocery shopping finished.

Speaking of grocery shopping, I thought I'd share one of my most embarrassing moments. Why would I share something that's embarrassing? Well, it's just too darn funny not to.

Saturday afternoon I made my way to Kroger to do our grocery shopping.  While I was there, I felt something hit the back of my leg. I looked down, but didn't seen anything. So, I kept walking. For some reason I decided to stop and turn around again.  When I did, my heart stopped.  There in the middle of the floor was a pair of my orange striped Victoria Secret panties. Yes, a pair of my underwear had fallen out of my capri pants and was laying in the middle of the floor. I panicked. What do I do? There are people EVERYWHERE.  It's Saturday afternoon for goodness sakes!

I quickly walked over to them, bent down, picked them up and stuffed them in my purse. I should have walked out the door, but in my panic stricken state I just kept shopping; however, with my head down.  I knew several people had to have seen it happen. How could they not have? I was killed.  I kept imagining if I had seen this happen to someone else and I couldn't help but laugh at myself.

Thankfully no one I knew saw it happen...at least as far as I know. LOL

  1. Thanks for the LOL moment I just had. I have never lost my chones like that, but my husband had a pair of mine slip out of his pant leg at work one day, so he shares your embarassment.
