More of the same...or not

My final lab results came in today. My post pre-eclampsia screen came back normal. Thank God. The thought of it lingering has haunted me for 7 weeks now. My MTHFR results showed my homocysteine levels were also normal. So essentially, the way my gene is mutated isn't affecting how it's supposed to work. In other words, all my tests have come back normal. What does that mean? Beats the heck out of me. LOL My perinatologist says it's too dangerous to try again and my OB thinks he's too much of a naysayer. What do you do?

We've decided a vacation is in order. Pending no hurricane or oil washing ashore, we're going to drive down to Myrtle Beach for a few days next month. I think I speak for the both of us in saying we NEED a vacation. Warm weather, cold drinks, and good books sound like they're just what the doctor ordered. Oh, and the beach of course. How can I forget that? :)

  1. Argh conflicting docs. Just what you need :p That sounds like good news that your gene is working like it's supposed to? I hope you manage to get away for a lovely wee break :)

  3. I have been tested for EVERYTHING and sometimes more than once. LOL But everything keeps coming back normal, which is good, but bittersweet too because there's really nothing I can pin this awful thing on other than sheer unlucky luck.
